Jim Clark

Jim Clark, CPA

CFO & Interim CEO

Jim Clark is Martello’s CFO & Interim CEO. His scope of responsibility at Martello includes overseeing corporate strategy to grow the business and ensure the company’s position as a global industry leader. He also leads the finance and accounting team and has oversight of IT and human resources. Jim has more than 25 years’ experience leading complex business transformations, mergers and acquisitions and building high-performance teams. Jim’s previous experience includes senior financial roles at CGI, HEXO and Symcor, and he holds a CPA designation and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University.

Doug Bellinger

Doug Bellinger

Chief Technology Officer

Doug Bellinger is Chief Technology Officer for Martello Technologies. A technology leader, Doug has over twenty years of experience in telecommunications networking, service and network management, and all aspects of software product development and lifecycle management. At Martello, Doug is responsible for the company’s technology strategy and for building a first-class development team.

Doug previously held positions at Nakina Systems, Atreus Systems, Solect Technology, CrossKeys Systems, CADLink Technology and Newbridge Networks. Prior to co-founding Atreus, Doug was a founding member of CrossKeys Systems Corporation, a leading network and service management company that achieved IPO in 1997. In that role, Doug was instrumental in the aggressive growth of corporate revenues and responsible for rapidly growing the R&D group.

Doug holds a B.A. Sc. (Honours, Applied Science in Electrical Engineering) from Queen’s University.

Rob Doucette

Rob Doucette

Vice President, Product Management

Rob Doucette is Vice President, Product Management for Martello Technologies. Rob has more than 15 years of experience building market-driven solutions with a focus on real-time diagnostics, monitoring, and analytics. He has assembled multiple software development teams from scratch, managed executive-level partnerships and relationships, and helped to secure funding from Microsoft.

Prior to joining Martello, Rob was the CTO of Savision, now a subsidiary of Martello where he led software development teams and was responsible for building industry-leading products such as the BridgeWays Management Pack Suite, Quest Spotlight on Active Directory, and Quest Spotlight on Exchange.

Tracy King

Tracy King

Vice President, Marketing

Tracy King is the Vice President, Marketing for Martello Technologies. Bringing more than 20 years of experience in technology B2B marketing, Tracy is responsible for Martello’s global channel and corporate marketing, strategic communications and investor relations.

Prior to joining Martello, Tracy held marketing and communications positions at Precidia Technologies, an Ottawa-based payment technology company, NAV Canada and the Hon. John Manley, Minister of Industry Canada.

Tracy holds a degree in Political Science from Carleton University.

Sue is the Senior Vice President of Sales and Partnerships at Martello. As a visionary leader, Sue has a strong history of devising strategic plans and building high-performing teams that drive revenue. She has vast experience in the SaaS tech sector as well as CPG. Having led all aspects of revenue generating functions, she has a track record of developing customer-centric strategies that deliver revenue growth. Her scope of responsibility at Martello includes leading the sales, customer support, client services and channel sales team to success.

Sir Terence H. Matthews

Sir Terence H. Matthews

Chairman, (Kt.,OBE, P.Eng., F.I.E.E. F R Eng)

Sir Terence Matthews is the founder and Chairman of Wesley Clover, an investment vehicle and holding company. Terry has either founded or funded over 100 companies since 1972 including Newbridge Networks, a company he founded in 1986 and which became a leader in the worldwide data networking industry. In 1972, before launching Newbridge, Terry co-founded Mitel, a world leader in the design and manufacture of enterprise communications solutions. Wesley Clover now has interests in a broad range of next-generation technology companies, real estate, hotels and resorts.

In addition to being the Chairman of Wesley Clover, Terry is also Chairman or Director of a number of private and publicly traded companies.

Terry holds an honours degree in electronics from the University of Wales and is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical Engineers and of the Royal Academy of Engineering. In 1994, he was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire, and in the 2001 Queen’s Birthday Honours, he was awarded a Knighthood. In 2011, he was appointed Patron of the European Cancer Stem Cell Research Institute.

Colley Clarke

An experienced CFO, he is known for financial leadership of TSX, NASDAQ and AIM listed companies in the technology, media and communications industries.

Previous roles include Chief Financial Officer of Redknee Solutions Inc. from March 2004 to March 2009 and a Director of Redknee Solutions Inc. from November 2007 to March 2009. Mr. Clarke holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the Ivey School of Business and is a Chartered Accountant with a CPA designation.

Don Smith

Don Smith, General Partner at Wesley Clover International is an accomplished senior executive with international experience. He has held senior executive roles in the hi-tech industry and was recognized as ‘CEO of the Year’ in 2010 by the Ottawa Business Journal and Telfer School of Management at Ottawa University. As CEO of Mitel from 2001 to 2011, Don was responsible for the company’s leadership in the emerging market for IP based business communications solutions and took the company public in 2010.

Don is a BSc. Engineering Graduate of Imperial College, London. Today, Don is focused on building successful growth companies by mentoring the entrepreneurial technology investments in the Wesley Clover Portfolio.

Mike Galvin

Mike Galvin is a telecommunications industry leader with more than 32 years’ experience in BT PLC, who has been responsible for the design, deployment and management of some of the largest broadband networks in the UK. Mike has been responsible for the design, deployment and management of some of the largest broadband networks in the UK. As Managing Director in BT PLC, he led key national initiatives including the rollout of BT’s fibre network, and the nationwide delivery of high-speed internet for the UK. He has led BT’s internationally respected research division. A telecommunication engineer and specialist in broadband networks he has 32 years of industry experience, working at board level, with governments and in leadership positions in technology, innovation and research.

Paul Butcher, based in Ottawa, Canada, is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with 25+ years of experience driving growth and innovation in the tech sector. He co-founded HostedBizz, a cloud IT services firm catering to small and medium-sized businesses, which was successfully acquired in 2022.
During his tenure as President and COO of Mitel from 1999 to 2011, Paul played a pivotal role in the company’s transformation, including its Nasdaq listing. His strategic acumen also led to high-profile acquisitions, notably the $725M acquisition of Inter-tel. Paul’s visionary approach extended to expanding Mitel’s global sales reach and nurturing key tech partnerships with industry giants like HP, VMware, and RIM.
