On February 25, 2025, at 11:32 AM EST, Martello’s Vantage DX monitoring began alerting on an issue affecting Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD SSO). While Microsoft had not yet acknowledged the incident, online reddit forums had noted the issue and our Vantage DX proactive monitoring detected disruptions impacting authentication across multiple workloads.

The above Vantage DX alerts inform the issue is related to the inability to resolve the Microsoft Entra service URL autologon.microsoftazuread-sso.com.
Our monitoring robots flagged an issue with the autologon.microsoftazuread-sso.com endpoint, indicating potential authentication failures. By 11:51 AM EST, alerts became more consistent, confirming a widespread impact on Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft 365 services.

Despite this, Microsoft has not issued an official advisory, nor have they provided updates on X (formerly Twitter) as of 12:22 PM EST.
As of 1:35 PM EST, we are seeing signs that the Microsoft outage is being resolved.
